Usage and dosage

Intramuscular injection: 2-4mg each time, twice a day.

Intravenous infusion: 4-8mg each time, dissolved in 100ml of physiological saline or glucose injection, intravenous infusion 1-2 times a day.

Arterial injection: Dissolve 4mg into 10ml of physiological saline and slowly inject for 2 minutes each time.

Adverse reactions

No serious adverse reactions have been reported. May include hypotension, dizziness, stomach pain, hot flashes, facial flushing, drowsiness, insomnia, etc. In clinical trials, an increase in uric acid concentration in the blood can be observed, but this phenomenon is not related to the dosage and duration of administration.

Taboos

This product is prohibited in the following situations:

Individuals who are allergic to nimergoline;

Recent myocardial infarction, acute bleeding, hypotension, severe bradycardia, orthostatic regulatory dysfunction, and bleeding tendency.

Drug interactions

Niergoline may enhance the effect of antihypertensive drugs, as it is metabolized through CYTP450 2D6, it cannot be ruled out that it interacts with drugs that pass through the same metabolic pathway.

Drug overdose

High doses of nimergoline may cause a temporary decrease in blood pressure and generally do not require treatment. Simply lie down and rest for a few minutes. Rare cases include insufficient blood supply to the brain and heart, and it is recommended to administer sympathetic drugs under continuous blood pressure monitoring.
